This is vital for maintaining integrity of the spine, and helping prevent spinal discomfort.

Core muscle training involves:

  • Learning to activate the core muscles, and keep them active during activity
  • Strengthening the core muscles to provide structural support
  • Building functional strength and tolerance to activity

We undertake early core muscle training under ultrasound imaging to verify appropriate activation of the deep core muscles that support the spine.

We conduct these exercise activities in our gym at Antill Physiotherapy, developing individual exercise programs for our clients, appropriate for their physical needs, specifically designed to achieve their individual goals.
